Eleko refers to the cassava-paste resist technique — one of the most demanding and exact forms of adire. A carved calabash or stencil is used to apply cassava paste in precise motifs; the fabric is then dyed and the paste removed to reveal crisp negative-space patterns. This co-ord features a relaxed boxy blouse with dropped shoulders and wide-leg trousers with an elasticated waist. The set is meant to be worn together but pairs well as separates. Made in Lagos.
